I would like to write a list of the tools an IT Project Manager is using in his every day activities.
Main tools
Jira - for managing the project and the employee's time link
TeamGantt - I use it mainly for making Gantt charts, but it can be used for other PM stuff as well link
Excel - for making reports and graphs
Power Point - for presentations
adding text as animation link
having a pen write down text link
google videoscribe ideas/solutions
Poker planning online
PlanITpoker - nice online tool where only moderator needs to register link
User Story mapping
StoriesOnBoard - nice online tool for USM link
Agile User Story Map - Jira plugin link
Mockup&Wireframe&Prototyping tools
Moqups - free mockup tool for up to 300 objects, but you have to extract pages using PrintScreen option
Lumzy - free mockup tool, but every 5 minutes a remainder comes up for you to buy a token which costs like 26 cents for 12 hours work without interruption
Balsamiq - paid and way more powerful option. Only 89$ to be paid once
Invisionapp - free, you need premade moqups and then you can make interactive prototypes out of them. Other collaborators can leave comments or you can work live on it.
Axure RP - paid and way more powerful option
Workflow tools
Draw.io - online, free, simple, integrates with Confluence
ProcessMaker - free desktop version of the software, allows you to make nice diagrams and BPMs
Workflow Designer - another free desktop tool
MS Visio - paid and way more powerful option
In case you have MS Visio file that you just need to view, here is a free Chrome link
Recording screen (for audio/video calls over the computer, presentations etc.)
iSpringFreeCam - it records for free without watermarks or time limits and gives the option to upload the video directly to YouTube. You can also very easily delete unwanted fragments of video.
FlashBack - maybe the most powerful free tool on the market, but the free version records videos in fbr filetype, so you need to go to File -> Export and put it in your preferred format
